The InVintory alternative for collectors who want self-serve software, not a concierge service.
CellarLog is the modern InVintory alternative for serious wine collectors who'd rather scan their own bottles, write their own NFC tags, and print their own labels than book onboarding calls and pay subscription tiers. AI label scanning, native Bluetooth printing, and a $49.99 lifetime purchase option — on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
Download on the App StoreWhy CellarLog instead of InVintory?
InVintory built a beautiful experience aimed at the high-end collector market. The trade-off is a high-touch model: their proprietary CellarStickers, concierge import, and subscription pricing are designed for buyers who'd rather hand off the work. CellarLog takes the opposite stance — the same level of polish, but everything is self-serve, in-app, and Apple-native. You scan your own labels with AI. You write your own NFC tags to any cheap NFC sticker pack from Amazon. You print your own labels via Bluetooth to a Niimbot printer that costs $50 instead of through a third-party workflow.
Self-serve everything
No onboarding call, no concierge import. Open the app, scan a bottle, you're cataloging in 30 seconds.
AI label scanning
Advanced multi-model AI identifies any wine instantly with critic ratings, tasting notes, food pairings, and drinking windows.
Any NFC tag
Buy a pack of generic NFC tags for a few dollars. CellarLog writes your wine's deep link to them in-app — not proprietary.
Native Bluetooth printing
Direct from CellarLog to a Niimbot printer over Bluetooth. No third-party label software.
Apple Watch companion
Your cellar on your wrist. InVintory doesn't ship a watch app.
Lifetime option
$49.99 once. InVintory is subscription-only.
Local-first storage
Your data lives on your devices and syncs via your personal iCloud, not on InVintory's servers.
iCloud sync, no account
Sync across iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch automatically — no sign-up, no email required.
Migrating from InVintory
If you've kept your collection in InVintory, you can move to CellarLog through CSV. Export your inventory from InVintory, open CellarLog on your iPhone, and tap Settings → Import CSV. The importer matches every row against any wines already in your cellar by UPC or by winery + name + vintage and shows a full preview before anything writes — each row tagged new, update, or unchanged, with a field-by-field diff for any update so nothing changes without your explicit approval. NFC tags applied via CellarStickers can be replaced with generic NFC tags written from CellarLog directly to whatever sticker stock you prefer.

If InVintory is built for the collector who wants a butler, CellarLog is built for the collector who'd rather have the keys. Same level of polish, opposite philosophy on who's doing the work.
